Our latest mini project development is the remote home monitoring system. The system will make use of a TCP/IP chipset to communicate with the mainframe server. Currently, we have incorporated a temperature sensor to the microcontroller which in turns propagate the raw data to the said server at a regular interval (30s). The browser will be able to show these data in the form of a graph with the essential points (time and temperature in degree Fahrenheit). The graph is made to refresh at the same interval to keep the user updated.

This simple animation software is written in .NET 2008 SDK. The program is designed to be integrated to an external hardware 16×8 matrix board, which acts as the display outputs. This board consists of lightbulbs arranged in a 16×8 block setting.
The simple program is able to perform the following tasks:
a. Add slides
b. Add text animations
c. Duplicate sequence
d. Move sequence up/down in the timeline
e. Set animation duration
f. Import/Export save files
g. Preview animation on screen
h. Modify animation settings

King Seh Horng, of Freedomsoft, on their E-Commerce Directory Site project, said “This programme is to help us encourage people to be involved in e-commerce. We tried to combine it into a platform and the programme is just like a directory where people can browse and search for products by several merchants, like an online store.”
His partner, King Seh Haur, said, “It is not exactly like eBay but there will be more features than eBay forums and stuff people can discuss.”

Brusearch was launched back in 2006. It aims to provide a common place where seller and buyer come and meet. There is a number of interesting features offerred at Brusearch including messaging, free SMS, business directories, product pages, classified ads page, community forum and latest news. One of the main technology behind the news is a web crawler. It will attempt to obtain information from relevant news site to be recorded in the database which could be viewed for future reference. This enables the user to easily find and read old articles which are already not available online.
